Life Cycle with Two Seasons

Life Cycle with Two Seasons

I never really appreciate or know the value of the rain until now.  Growing up with only two seasons, sunny and wet, the rain was something you live with.  Life does not stop when it rains and when it rains, it pours, literally not only for a few minutes or hours, but it could be raining for days.  Such is life on a tropical island.

Being away from my home country for a long time, made me realized how my own childhood seasons shaped and influenced me with how I garden.   My garden plants and flowers just thrived and happy after it rains.  It seems like they know that it is time to shout and tell the world that they are alive and ready to flourish when they experienced the two seasons. They are nourished by the sun and takes off after it rains.  The growing season begins and my heart grows with it every time.  Like my plants, I too, need the sun and the rain to be nourished, to grow, and bring joy to others.
